Is it wrong to love money?

1 Timothy 6:10 The love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. What does this mean?

In the English-Greek interlinear I found that “love of money” is actually one Greek word: φιλαργυρία. I put it in Google translate because I find that over 90% of the time it gives a correct translation for koine Greek of the New Testament.

What I found was that the Greek word would translate into English like this:
Avarice: (noun) insatiable greed for riches; inordinate, miserly desire to gain and hoard wealth.
Parsimony (noun) extreme or excessive economy or frugality; stinginess
Penuriousness (adjective) extremely stingy; parsimonious; miserly.
extremely poor; destitute; indigent.
poorly or inadequately supplied; lacking in means or resources.
Sordidness (adjective) morally ignoble or base; vile: sordid methods.
meanly selfish, self-seeking, or mercenary.
dirty or filthy.
squalid; wretchedly poor and run-down: sordid housing.

So I concluded that “love of money” is not a good explanation of what it means. It means to have a selfish greed to gain money.
